Tennesse kicked out of Pahokee

    Earlier this week when Tennessee coaches visited Pahokee, the principal would not allow them in the school.

    Also Antonio Ford was verbally offered by UT on the phone last night with some interesting quotes. More to come later.

    It's all semantics. Fact of the matter is while other universities were allowed to visit the Pahokee campus, when UT showed up they were not welcome and asked to leave.

    They'll be back. The principal won't get to decide where the kids play football. But its cool that he puffs up.

    First off do not post content from other sites.

    It was never implied the coaches or more importantly the players have a problem with UT. I've heard there were mixed feelings on the decision to not let them in. Heck the players still plan on visiting this summer.

    I think the principal had to do that, to stand up for the community. The coaches will be allowed back in, but that first time he needed to show something.

    I paid for the info, I can post it. Sorry the truth hurts. UT coaches had already met with Coach Thompson earlier in the day, the principal just didn't know.

    What you implied is that they were kept out, which isn't true. they'd already been there earlier in the day. Next time, try the whole truth.

    I am not here to spin anything in favor of any school, which it sounds like you want. If you want info with a UT slant I suggest you stay on UT sites and not here. You get the truth whether it favors your team or not.

    If you read the article you would have seen the PLAYERS (the key figures here) still plan on visiting UT. Do you remember how much influence Coach Blaze had in Nu'Keese's recruitment? Not much, he just wants them to go to college, any college.

    Here is the piece of the article you need to read:

    -The whole nation knows about Tennessee Head Coach Lane Kiffin’s regrettable remarks towards the Pahokee community shortly after landing Richardson. It appears those comments still ring in the ears of some at Pahokee High, as coaches from Tennessee attempted to visit Pahokee earlier in the week.

    “The principal kicked them out because he’s still mad at the coach or something like that,” said Ford.

    As of now there are still plans for members of the Pahokee team to make it to Knoxville this summer, while Ford, and early enrollee candidate, would like to camp at a couple other schools as well.

    “We are supposed to go to a camp at Tennessee. I’m trying to get to Vanderbilt and Minnesota.”
