Week 8: SoFLA’s Top 10

No shakeups in the SoFLAfootball Top 10 following week eight as all ten teams came out victorious. *Previous week’s ranking in ( )
1. St. Thomas Aquinas (1): The Raiders (7-0) rolled to a 49-7 victory over McArthur last week. STA faces Deerfield Beach this week.
2. Glades Central (2): The Raiders (8-0) pitched another shutout as they beat Boynton Beach 41-0. Glades Central is off this week before facing Suncoast November 6th.
3. Dwyer (3): The Panthers (6-1) defeated Okeechobee 48-0 for their third consecutive shutout. Friday Dwyer hosts Royal Palm Beach.
4. Booker T. Washington (4): The Tornadoes (8-0) held on for a 16-8 win over Miami Jackson. BTW enjoys a bye this week before facing Miami Edison November 6th.
5. Miami Northwestern (5): Northwestern (6-1) cruised past Miami Springs 59-21. Friday the Bulls take on Miami Edison.
6. Miami Central (6): The Rockets (7-1) beat Hialeah 48-0 last week. Miami Central is off this week before taking on Hialeah-Miami Lakes November 7th.
7. Pompano Ely (7): The Tigers (8-0) defeated Boyd Anderson 26-0. Ely has a bye this week before facing Dillard November 7th.
8. Pahokee (8): The Blue Devils (6-1) overpowered Pine Crest 36-7. Friday Pahokee travels to Palm Beach Lakes.
9. Miami Southridge (9): The Spartans (6-0) came away with a thrilling 28-21 victory over Palmetto last week. Friday Southridge takes on Killian at Harris Park.
10. Chaminade-Madonna (10): The Lions (7-0) defeated Archbishop Caroll 24-0. Friday Chaminade takes on Coral Shores.
