Week 3: SoFLA’s Top 10

The third week of games went as planned for the most part, other than previously #7 ranked Dwyer rolling past previously #4 ranked Pahokee.

1. St. Thomas Aquinas (1): The Raiders (2-0) enjoyed a bye week, and travel to Cardinal Gibbons Friday.

2. Miami Northwestern (2): Northwestern (2-0) were in a tight game with Hialeah early before pulling away for a 42-20 victory. Friday the Bulls take on Hialeah-Miami Lakes.

3. Miami Central (3): The Rockets (3-0) routed Miami Beach 63-0. Thursday Miami Central faces Miami Springs.

4. Glades Central (5): The Raiders (3-0) got by American Heritage-Delray 33-14. Royal Palm Beach is up next for Glades Central.

5. Dwyer (7): The Panthers (2-1) surprised the state by pounding Pahokee 34-6. Dwyer enjoys a bye this week before facing Delray Beach Atlantic October 2.

6. Booker T. Washington (6): The Tornadoes (3-0) rolled to a 54-0 victory over North Miami. Friday BTW takes on Coral Gables.

7. Columbus (8): The Explorers (3-0) eked out a victory over South Dade 26-22 in the final seconds of the game. Thursday Columbus takes on Miami High.

8. Pahokee (4): The Blue Devils (2-1) were dismantled by Dwyer 34-6. Friday Pahokee faces Cardinal Newman.

9. Delray Beach Atlantic (10): The Eagles (2-1) beat Boynton Beach 33-0 in a shortened game. This week Atlantic enjoys a bye before facing Dwyer October 2.

10. Miami Southridge (9): The Spartans (1-0) blitzed Valera 42-8 in their season opener. Saturday Southridge faces South Dade.
